About Us:
Food4u is a busy, well-established restaurant running successfully since 2015. We are located right next to the metro station and are looking for a reliable, experienced Commis 1 to join our kitchen team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Independent Cooking: Take charge of your assigned kitchen station (Tandoor, Indian, Chinese, or Continental) and cook dishes according to our recipes.
- Food Preparation: Handle daily prep work, including cutting, marinating, and organizing ingredients before the rush starts.
- Maintain Quality: Ensure the food looks great, tastes consistent, and is served hot and fresh.
- Help the Team: Guide and assist junior cooks (Commis 2) and kitchen helpers when needed.
- Cleanliness: Keep your station clean, organized, and hygienic at all times.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience working as a cook/Commis in a restaurant.
- Skills: Good knowledge of kitchen safety, fast food prep, and proper cooking techniques.
- Speed: Ability to cook quickly and accurately during busy lunch and dinner hours.
- Teamwork: A positive attitude and the ability to work well with our Head Chef and the rest of the team.
