ob Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our Design Department. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3–4 years of experience in the fabrication industry with strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Candidates with prior experience in industrial furnace and oven manufacturing will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed manufacturing and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Develop 2D and 3D models, assembly drawings, and fabrication layouts.
- Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, BOMs, and material specifications.
- Coordinate with production, purchase, and project teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Review customer specifications and incorporate design requirements.
- Support design improvements, standardization, and cost optimization.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable engineering standards and customer requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in the fabrication or heavy engineering industry.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication standards.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to work at our Poonamallee, Chennai manufacturing facility.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in industrial furnace and oven manufacturing.
- Knowledge of sheet metal, structural fabrication, and mechanical assemblies.
- Familiarity with industrial heat treatment equipment, insulation systems, and fabrication practices.
- Exposure to ERP systems and Microsoft Office will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
