Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate welders and technicians.
- Plan and execute workshop and on-site repair activities.
- Ensure jobs are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and logistics teams.
- Inspect welding and repair work and maintain records.
- Enforce safety procedures, PPE compliance, and hazard control.
Required Skills
- Expertise in welding processes: SMAW, MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and FCAW.
- Experience with Vertical Roller Mills (VRM) and Roller Press Rolls maintenance and hardfacing.
- Ability to operate and set up semi-automatic welding machines.
- Knowledge of welding parameters, alignment techniques, and maintenance tools.
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in welding, repair, and maintenance.
- Mandatory experience in the cement industry.
- Proven experience in shutdown maintenance, breakdown repairs, and critical equipment servicing.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production, Industrial, Metallurgical, or Welding Engineering.
