Job Details
Department: Machine Room
Position: Chef de Partie (CDP)
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and manage bakery machinery (mixers, sheeters, ovens, etc.)
- Oversee bulk dough preparation and production processes
- Ensure consistency in product quality, weight, and measurements
- Follow standard recipes and production schedules strictly
- Supervise commis and helper staff
- Maintain hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in the production area
- Monitor raw material usage and control wastage
- Ensure proper functioning and basic maintenance of equipment
- Coordinate with Pastry/Production Head for daily output planning
Requirements
- Proven experience as CDP in bakery production / machine room
- Strong knowledge of dough handling and industrial baking processes
- Experience working with commercial bakery equipment
- Ability to manage team and high-volume production
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Preferred Skills
- Technical understanding of bakery machinery
- Strong production planning and time management
- Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
