A Support Staff Supervisor in a school (such as an Operations Manager or Administrative Supervisor) manages non-teaching personnel, including custodial, clerical, and cafeteria teams. Their primary goal is to oversee daily operations, ensure a safe and organized environment, and support staff performance so educators can focus entirely on student instruction.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Oversee Operations: Coordinate daily schedules and task assignments for support staff (janitors, administrative assistants, IT technicians, and paraprofessionals).
- Performance Tracking: Conduct regular performance evaluations, set clear objectives, and identify training needs.
- Hiring & Onboarding: Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and training new support team members.
Facility & Safety Management
- Safety Compliance: Ensure the campus meets all health, safety, and fire regulations.
- Maintenance Coordination: Work with site managers to schedule routine repairs, deep cleaning, and groundskeeping.
- Resource Allocation: Manage inventory for office supplies, custodial products, and facility equipment.
Administrative & Liaison Duties
- Workflow Optimization: Streamline administrative processes to ensure smooth front-office operations.
- Conflict Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for resolving staff grievances or operational disputes.
- Liaison: Bridge the gap between support staff and the school’s senior leadership to communicate policies and goals.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years in staff supervision or operational management, ideally within an educational setting.
- Key Skills: Strong conflict resolution, excellent organizational and communication abilities, and working knowledge of budget management and health and safety protocols.
Pay: ₹25,782.47 - ₹30,943.55 per month
