Accounts Executive

Role Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial recordkeeping. The role involves handling GST and TDS compliance, invoicing, reconciliations, payroll processing, month-end closing activities, and supporting the preparation of financial statements. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, statutory regulations, and accounting software, with the ability to deliver accurate work within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Operations
- Record day-to-day accounting transactions using Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.
- Process monthly payroll, ensuring accurate salary calculations, statutory deductions, reimbursements, and timely salary disbursement.
- Perform bank, vendor, and ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
GST & TDS Compliance
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and other applicable returns) within statutory timelines.
- Reconcile GSTR-2B with books, monitor Input Tax Credit (ITC), and resolve discrepancies.
- Deduct, deposit, and account for TDS accurately, and prepare and file quarterly TDS returns.
- Maintain compliance records and support GST, TDS, and statutory audits.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process and record purchase and sales invoices accurately.
- Verify invoices for approvals, supporting documentation, and applicable tax treatment.
- Maintain vendor and customer ledgers and follow up on outstanding items and discrepancies.
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely settlements.
Financial Reporting & Statutory Compliance
- Assist in the preparation and finalisation of financial statements, including the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Account.
- Prepare schedules and supporting documents for financial reporting and statutory audits.
- Monitor statutory due dates and ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and other applicable compliances.
- Assist in internal, statutory, and tax audits by providing required documentation and reconciliations.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.Com, M.Com, or an equivalent qualification in Commerce.
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of advanced Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial functions).
- Experience in financial statement preparation and account finalisation will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
