Job Title: Process Design Engineer (Municipal Water & Wastewater Treatment Plant)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Process Design Engineer with experience in municipal water and wastewater treatment projects. The candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing treatment processes, including advanced tertiary treatment and desalination systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of PFD (Process Flow Diagram), P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagram), and HFD (Hydraulic Flow Diagram)
- Perform mass balance, hydraulic calculations, and head loss calculations as per CPHEEO Manual
- Preparation of Design Basis Report (DBR), technical datasheets, and detailed project reports (DPR)
- Develop process design presentations for internal and client review
- Preparation of GA drawings (General Arrangement) and layout designs
- Conduct proof checking and validation of design calculations and drawings
- Design and optimize systems for water treatment, wastewater treatment, advanced tertiary treatment, and desalination plants
Required Skills & Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of municipal water & wastewater treatment processes
- Experience in advanced tertiary treatment and desalination technologies
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling and design calculations
- Familiarity with CPHEEO guidelines and standards
- Ability to prepare technical reports and engineering documentation
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Qualifications:
- M.E. / M.Tech in Environmental Engineering
- Experience in end-to-end process design for water infrastructure projects
- Exposure to STP, WTP, ETP, and desalination plant design
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
