MES Opcenter Discrete – Manager, Functional Transformation
As a Manager at Deloitte Consulting Services, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.
Work you'll do
As a Manager, Functional Transformation on the Enterprise Performance team, you will be responsible for:
- Contributing to the growth and development of Deloitte’s Manufacturing Execution System (MES) offering.
- Leading requirements validation, functional design, prototyping, process design, testing, training, support procedures, and implementation activities for MES projects.
- Conducting customer workshops and design sessions to document requirements, validate configurations, and define current-state and future-state MES solutions.
- Acting as a technical and solution architect for supply chain and manufacturing transformation projects, including integration with plant control systems, enterprise resource planning, product lifecycle management, advanced planning and scheduling, and laboratory information management systems.
- Supporting project delivery, sales pursuits, proposal development, and product input as a subject matter expert during development and deployment phases.

The Enterprise Performance team leverages deep industry knowledge, strong analytical skills, and practical approaches to address clients’ toughest business challenges. Our professionals as part of the Supply Chain Network Operations (SCNO) service line within Enterprise Performance focus on helping organizations achieve sustainable competitive advantage throughout their operations, spanning product development, planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution. We excel at translating strategic objectives into tangible, measurable outcomes at the operational level. By aligning high-level goals with frontline execution, we ensure our clients realize real value and improved performance across every stage of their supply chain and operations.
Location: Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM IST, as per business requirements
Qualifications: B.Tech/ M.Tech/ MBA
Required:
Required:
- Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Master of Technology (M.Tech), or Master of Business Administration (MBA).
- 10+ years of work experience in manufacturing systems, enterprise applications, or consulting environments.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter Discrete and MOM Connect.
- Experience configuring and customizing Opcenter Execution Foundation and Opcenter Discrete functionalities.
- Experience applying ISA-95 and ISA-88 standards, Good Practice (GxP), Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GAMP), and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements in MES environments.
- Experience with SAP-MES integration, Level 2 automation systems, Java, C# .NET, Oracle, Structured Query Language (SQL), RESTful application programming interfaces, web services, SQL Server, and stored procedures.
- Experience with BOM, Manufacturing Work Plans, MBOM, BOP, quality management, dispatch management, scheduling, work-in-process tracking, resource tracking, and maintenance management.
Preferred:
- Experience with Siemens products including DIS, Insights Hub, Opcenter Intelligence, and APS.
- Experience with Mendix.
