Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced AI / Machine Learning Engineer to build and deploy production-grade AI capabilities for a healthcare care-management platform.
The role involves developing AI solutions across population health, workflow optimization, clinical decision support and documentation assistance.
The ideal candidate should have strong Python-based ML experience, hands-on production AI/ML deployment experience, and practical expertise in LLM applications, RAG, evaluation frameworks and AI safety guardrails.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test and deploy production AI/ML solutions.
- Develop predictive and machine-learning models for healthcare use cases.
- Build AI capabilities for:
- Population health
- Risk stratification
- Workflow optimization
- Clinical decision support
- Documentation assistance
- Analytics
- Develop LLM-powered applications using prompting and RAG.
- Build evaluation harnesses to assess model quality and reliability.
- Implement AI safety guardrails.
- Design explainable and audit-ready AI outputs.
- Conduct model evaluation, bias testing and safety testing.
- Develop PHI-safe and secure AI/ML pipelines.
- Work with de-identified or synthetic healthcare datasets during development and testing.
- Collaborate with software engineering and healthcare-domain teams to productionize AI features.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience building and shipping AI/ML systems in production.
- Strong Python ML stack experience.
- Strong expertise in at least two of the following:
- Risk stratification / predictive modeling
- Population health
- Recommendation systems
- NLP / LLM text generation and summarization
- Analytics
- Hands-on experience developing LLM applications.
- Experience with prompt engineering / prompting and RAG.
- Experience building model evaluation frameworks.
- Understanding of AI safety guardrails.
- Experience with model evaluation and bias/safety testing.
- Ability to produce explainable and audit-ready AI outputs.
Preferred Skills
- Clinical NLP experience.
- Experience with EHR data.
- Experience with healthcare claims data.
- Experience with SDOH / HRSN data.
- MLOps experience.
- Understanding of clinical decision-support safety.
- Familiarity with CMS care-management program rules.
Security & Healthcare Requirements
Candidates must understand the importance of secure AI development in healthcare environments, including:
- PHI-safe data pipelines.
- De-identified/synthetic data for development and testing.
- Auditability of AI outputs.
- Bias and safety evaluation.
- Appropriate human/clinician review of clinical AI outputs.
Ideal Candidate
You should be a hands-on AI/ML engineer who can move beyond experimentation and build reliable, evaluated and production-ready AI systems. Experience applying LLMs and machine learning to healthcare, clinical or care-management workflows will be highly valuable.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹54,000.00 per month
