Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Junior Sales Officer with experience in handling agricultural dealers and distributors. The candidate will be responsible for expanding the dealer network, achieving sales targets, promoting company products, and building strong relationships with channel partners and farmers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a network of agricultural dealers and distributors.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Generate new dealer appointments and strengthen existing dealer relationships.
- Conduct dealer visits, retailer visits, and farmer meetings on a regular basis.
- Promote company products through product demonstrations and awareness programs.
- Coordinate with distributors to ensure product availability and timely deliveries.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Collect payments and maintain healthy outstanding levels.
- Prepare daily visit reports and submit sales activity reports.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for promotional activities and campaigns.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt service and technical support.
Required Skills
- Strong dealer and distributor management skills.
- Good communication and negotiation abilities.
- Sales planning and target orientation.
- Knowledge of agricultural inputs and crop practices.
- Relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, MS Office).
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Qualification
- B.Sc. Agriculture / Diploma in Agriculture / Any Graduate (Agriculture background preferred).
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in agricultural sales.
- Experience working with dealer and distributor networks is mandatory.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in Bio Fertilizers, Bio Stimulants, Crop Protection, Seeds, Fertilizers, or Agri Input industry.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and target-driven.
- Possession of a valid two-wheeler driving license will be an added advantage.
