JOB OVERVIEW Maintain proper inventory of pharmacy, dispensing medication in OP and IP, indent handling.
JOB DESCRIPTION:Ensure proper inventory of medicines and disposables
Ensure correct issuing of medicines against op prescriptions and ip indentsEnsure to maintain double lock narcotics key, and maintain narcotic register properly
Ensure to write shortage medicines in corresponding book including bounce items
Daily audits to reduce contra errors and quantity mismatches.
Maintain relevent registers etc.,Incase of non availability of drugs, follow escalation matrix with concern doctor/nurses to issuing substitute.
Overall responsibility for all cash transactions involving OP pharmacy and ensure timely remittance of sales procedure to accounts department.
All pharmacy staff is responsible to maintain proper inventory.To dispense "right drug, right dose to the right patient"Cross check with the patient bill, drug name, batch no, sale qty, expiry and mrp before going to dispense the medicines to patients.

Result Areas / Roles & ResponsibilitiesPrimary : Dispensing mediaction as per prescription, inventory managementSecondary : Update stock & indent raising to Central Pharmacy, Pending GRNs checking, Stock receiving and checking, issuing ward indents, checking near expiry and non-moving medicines before 90 days, maintaining registers.
Key Performance IndicatorsMedicine dispensing, checking of POs, ward indent registers, rejected GRNs register and local across the counter purchase.
Skills/Competencies Functional Skills : Accounting and auditing skills, ability to analyze and interpret billing records.Behavioural Skills : Excellent communication skills, problem solving skills, and computer knowledgeCompetencies : Knowledge on medicines composition, prescription analysis.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications - D Pharmacy / BPharmacyTechnical Qualifications – Computer KnowledgeMinimum 3 to 5 years in relevent experience.Co ordination with the staff and ability to work in a team
