Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Python Developer with 1–3 years of experience to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate should possess strong Python programming skills, excellent Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, and hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs and working with relational databases.
We value AI-native developers who already utilize modern AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar IDE assistants to improve productivity and code quality.
While prior experience with Frappe Framework (ERPNext) or Agentic AI frameworks such as CrewAI is not mandatory, the candidate must demonstrate strong learning ability and enthusiasm to quickly master these technologies as part of their career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services using JSON, HTTP, and REST protocols.
- Work with relational databases including MariaDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and database migrations.
- Build clean, modular, and reusable code following OOP principles.
- Troubleshoot application issues and optimize system performance.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and project managers.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and API documentation.
- Learn and contribute to ERPNext/Frappe-based application development.
- Explore and implement AI-powered workflows using Agentic AI frameworks such as CrewAI.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve development speed and software quality.
Required SkillsProgramming
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Familiarity with Python best practices and design patterns.
- Knowledge of asynchronous programming is an advantage.
Database
- Strong knowledge of relational databases:
- MariaDB
- MySQL
- PostgreSQL
- SQL query optimization and schema design.
- CRUD operations and transaction handling.
API Development
- REST API development.
- API authentication (JWT, OAuth, API Keys).
- JSON serialization and parsing.
- Third-party API integrations.
Development Tools
- Git and GitHub/GitLab.
- Postman or similar API testing tools.
- Docker (basic knowledge is preferred).
- Linux command line.
AI-Assisted Development
Candidates should already be comfortable using AI-powered development environments such as:
- Cursor
- Claude Code
- GitHub Copilot
- ChatGPT or similar coding assistants
We expect developers to effectively use AI tools for:
- Code generation
- Debugging
- Refactoring
- Documentation
- Unit testing
- Rapid prototyping
Good to Have
- Experience with the Frappe Framework (ERPNext).
