Role Summary
As a Logistics Executive in the Pharma Industry, you will support and manage key logistics functions to ensure smooth flow of raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the supply chain. You will be responsible for coordinating transportation, managing documentation, tracking shipments, liaising with vendors, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. End‑to‑End Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate movement of medicines from source to destination
- Track shipments, deliveries, and transportation status
- Liaise with transport vendors, carriers, CHAs, and internal teams for seamless execution
- Plan and schedule logistics to meet delivery timelines
2. Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and manage logistics documentation including invoices, bills of lading, airway bills, shipping bills, etc.
- Ensure all documents are compliant with regulatory requirements for pharma goods
- Maintain accurate records and support audit readiness
3. Inventory & Supply Chain Support
- Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, QA/QC, and production teams
- Monitor inventory movement and report discrepancies
- Support demand forecasting and logistics planning
4. Vendor & Carrier Coordination
- Communicate with transport vendors, freight forwarders, and clearing agents
- Negotiate freight rates and delivery schedules
- Ensure cost‑efficient logistics operations
5. Tracking & Reporting
- Track transit status and resolve issues such as delayed shipments or discrepancies
- Provide regular updates and MIS reports on logistics activities, costs, and timelines
- Support system updates in logistics software
Required Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of logistics processes, documentation, and regulatory compliance
- Cold Chain Packaging (beneficial)
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to compliance standards
Preferred Experience
- Experience in pharmaceutical logistics, export/import, or temperature‑controlled supply chain
- Understanding of customs clearance, export documentation, and international trade processes (if relevant)
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Pharma, Commerce, or related discipline
- 2–5 years of relevant industry experience (pharma / logistics / supply chain)
Job Location: Prabhadevi, Mumbai
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
