Title: F&B Steward
Department: Food & Beverage / Stewarding Reports To: Stewarding Supervisor / F&B Manager
Job Summary: The F&B Steward ensures cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. Responsible for cleaning dishes, utensils, and equipment, and assisting in maintaining overall kitchen and service support operations.
Key Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes. Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen, back area, and service stations. Assist in receiving and storing supplies properly. Handle and operate dishwashing machines safely. Dispose of garbage and waste according to sanitation standards. Maintain stock of cleaning supplies and report shortages. Support chefs and service staff during operations as needed. Follow all safety, hygiene, and sanitation policies. Maintain organization and cleanliness of stewarding areas. Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills: High school education or equivalent. Prior experience as a steward or utility worker in hospitality preferred. Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards. Physically fit and able to stand for long periods. Team player with a positive attitude.
Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
