Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling Electronic POS Hardware and Printing Solutions while providing technical support to customers and helping grow the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell:
- Android POS Systems
- Windows POS Systems
- Handheld POS Terminals
- Billing Printers
- Mobile Printers
- Label Printers
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
- Generate new business opportunities and develop strong customer relationships.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and product specifications.
- Provide pre-sales technical support and respond to customer inquiries.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations.
- Coordinate with technical, operations, and service teams for smooth order execution.
- Follow up on inquiries and convert leads into sales.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in POS systems, printers, or electronic hardware.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Customer-focused with good problem-solving abilities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in selling POS machines, billing printers, barcode scanners, label printers, or retail automation products.
- Knowledge of retail or hospitality billing solutions is an added advantage.
