Key Responsibilities:
Banking & Payment Operations:
Prepare and process vendor payments through Cheques, NEFT, and RTGS using manual and online banking platforms.
Maintain proper records of all banking transactions and payment details.
Send cheque and payment details along with Tally references to concerned personnel through email.
Download, verify, and circulate daily bank statements to concerned departments.
Prepare payment requests after verifying purchase bills and Tally entries.
Accounts Payable & Purchase Bill Management:
Receive and maintain purchase bills from plants, sites, and courier.
Prepare purchase bill summaries and maintain proper tracking records.
Enter purchase bills in Tally with accurate cost center allocation (Plant, Vehicle, Site, etc.).
Verify purchase bills with supporting documents and ensure timely processing of payments.
Follow up with sites and plant departments for pending purchase bills, PAN cards, and required documents.
Sort and organize purchase bills site-wise and plant-wise and hand over documents for filing.
Record Management & Coordination:
Maintain systematic files and records for purchase and sales bills.
Coordinate with site heads, plant heads, vendors, and internal departments regarding payment status and document requirements.
Attend and handle phone calls related to payment queries and account-related follow-ups.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance as per company accounting procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent qualification.
2–5 years of experience in Accounts Payable and Banking Operations.
Working knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
Hands-on experience with NEFT, RTGS, cheque preparation, and internet banking.
Good knowledge of purchase accounting, bill verification, and cost center accounting.
Proficiency in MS Excel and email communication.
Good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
Ability to maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and proper financial records.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in construction, plant, infrastructure based organizations will be an added advantage.
