Meraki Dezine is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Architect to lead the design and execution of prestigious projects across healthcare, hospitality, commercial, and high-end residential sectors.
The ideal candidate is a strong design professional with proven experience in leading multidisciplinary teams, managing client relationships, and delivering projects from concept through completion. This role requires both creative excellence and strong project leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead architectural and interior design projects from concept design through construction completion.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, timelines, and budget compliance.
Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of architects, designers, and drafting professionals.
Develop design concepts, presentations, detailed drawings, and construction documentation.
Coordinate with consultants including structural, MEP, HVAC, landscape, lighting, and specialty consultants.
Conduct client meetings, understand project requirements, present design proposals, and manage stakeholder expectations.
Review drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with design intent, applicable codes, and project standards.
Monitor project progress and provide timely design solutions during execution.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project management teams during construction.
Ensure timely delivery of project milestones while maintaining high design and documentation standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
Minimum 7 years of professional architectural experience.
Strong experience in managing architectural teams and mentoring junior professionals.
Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects from inception to handover.
Excellent client management and presentation skills.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, detailing, and project coordination.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Office, and presentation software.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in large-scale healthcare, hospital, medical infrastructure, hospitality, or mixed-use developments will be given preference.
Experience working on projects involving multidisciplinary consultant coordination and large project teams will be an added advantage.
