Role Overview
Prime Point is looking for a proactive Placement Officer to manage the end-to-end placement process for students. The role will focus on identifying suitable job opportunities, coordinating interviews, maintaining placement records, and supporting students throughout the recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete student placement process, from identifying opportunities to final selection.
- Connect with companies, HR teams, recruiters, and hiring partners for fresher job opportunities.
- Share suitable job openings with eligible students and coordinate applications.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews, assessments, placement drives, and recruitment activities.
- Regularly follow up with companies regarding interview status, feedback, and selection results.
- Guide students on interview schedules, company requirements, eligibility, and recruitment processes.
- Maintain accurate records of job openings, interviews, selections, offers, joining status, and overall placement data.
- Track students who are actively seeking placement and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Coordinate with internal training and operations teams regarding student readiness and placement eligibility.
- Build and maintain a database of companies and recruiters hiring freshers.
- Work towards monthly placement targets and improve the overall placement conversion rate.
Candidate Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in placements, recruitment, HR, staffing, training institute placement, or a related role.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Comfortable communicating with HR professionals, recruiters, and students.
- Strong follow-up and relationship-management skills.
- Good working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and placement tracking.
- Ability to manage multiple interviews, students, and company requirements simultaneously.
- Target-oriented and organized approach to work.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with prior experience in an IT training institute, placement consultancy, recruitment agency, college placement cell, or EdTech organization will be preferred.
Key Performance Indicators
Performance will primarily be measured through student placements, interview opportunities generated, placement conversion, company engagement, and timely management of the placement process.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
