Job Responsibilities – POD Executive (Transport/Logistics)
A POD (Proof of Delivery) Executive in the transport or logistics industry is responsible for managing and verifying delivery confirmation documents and ensuring accurate records of completed shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. POD Collection & Verification
o Collect Proof of Delivery (POD) documents from drivers, transporters, or delivery partners.
o Verify POD details such as receiver name, signature, date, seal, and delivery remarks.
2. Documentation Management
o Maintain proper records of POD documents in physical and digital formats.
o Scan and upload POD copies into the company system or logistics portal.
3. Coordination
o Coordinate with drivers, transporters, and warehouse teams to obtain pending PODs.
o Follow up for missing or delayed POD documents.
4. Data Entry & Reporting
o Update delivery status in ERP or transport management systems.
o Prepare daily or weekly reports on POD status and pending documents.
5. Customer / Client Support
o Provide POD copies to customers or internal teams when required.
o Handle queries related to delivery confirmation.
6. Discrepancy Handling
o Identify issues such as damaged goods remarks, short delivery, or unsigned PODs.
o Inform the concerned department for further action.
7. Compliance & Record Keeping
o Ensure PODs are stored as per company policy and audit requirements.
o Maintain organized records for easy retrieval during audits.
Skills Required:
· Good knowledge of logistics documentation
· Attention to detail
· Basic computer and data entry skills (Excel / ERP systems)
· Communication and coordination skills
· Ability to follow up and track pending documents
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
