We are looking for a Healthcare QA Engineer with strong experience in testing healthcare applications and workflows. The candidate should have hands-on experience in validating modules related to EHR/EMR, e-Prescription, patient scheduling, insurance workflows, RCM, and healthcare integrations.
The ideal candidate should be capable of understanding end-to-end healthcare business flows, identifying gaps, preparing test scenarios, executing functional testing, coordinating with business and development teams, and ensuring quality delivery in agile environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing for healthcare applications.
- Validate healthcare workflows in any of the following:
- EHR / EMR
- Patient onboarding and registration
- Appointment booking and scheduling
- Provider workflows
- SOAP notes / clinical documentation
- e-Prescription workflows
- Insurance eligibility and claims
- Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
- 340B pharmacy workflows
- Billing and payment modules
- Prepare and review:
- Test scenarios
- Test cases
- RTM
- Defect reports
- Test summary reports
- Perform API validation and basic backend verification where required.
- Analyze production/UAT issues and support defect triaging.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies, requirement discussions, and release validations.
- Ensure proper test coverage for positive, negative, and edge-case scenarios.
- Validate integrations with third-party healthcare systems and insurance platforms.
Required Skills
- 5–10 years of QA experience with minimum 3 years in Healthcare domain.
- Strong understanding of below in any one listed:
- EHR / EMR systems
- eRx / e-Prescription workflows
- Insurance workflows
- Appointment scheduling systems
- RCM concepts
- 340B workflows
- Experience in Manual Testing and Functional Testing.
- Good knowledge in API testing using tools like Postman.
- Experience in defect tracking tools such as Jira.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Ability to derive business flow-based test scenarios independently.
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to healthcare compliance standards such as:
- HIPAA
- HL7 / FHIR
- Experience in healthcare provider or patient management platforms.
- Exposure to automation or API automation is an added advantage.
- Experience working with US healthcare applications preferred.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
