*Key responsibilities*
- *Compliance*: Implement and monitor EHS policies per OSHA, Factories Act, EPA, ISO 45001 + ISO 14001. Keep licenses, permits, and legal documents updated
- *Risk management*: Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, HIRA, and JSA. Recommend controls to reduce accidents and exposure
- *Training + awareness*: Run safety inductions, toolbox talks, fire drills, and EHS training for employees and contractors
- *Incident management*: Investigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe acts. Do root cause analysis and track corrective actions till closure
- *Inspections + audits*: Do daily/weekly safety inspections, workplace monitoring for noise, air, chemicals. Lead internal/external EHS audits
- *Waste + environment*: Monitor waste disposal, water/effluent treatment, emissions, and ensure environmental compliance
- *Reporting*: Maintain EHS records, KPI dashboards, and submit monthly reports to management + regulators
*Skills needed*
- Degree/Diploma in Safety, Environmental Engg, or related field. NEBOSH IGC, ADIS, or IOSH preferred
- Knowledge of Indian safety laws, PPE, fire safety, chemical handling
- Strong communication, audit skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to influence without authority and build a safety culture
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
