Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Welcoming guests, answering questions regarding menu items, and providing a positive dining experience.
- Order Taking & Service: Assisting in taking accurate orders and serving food and beverages promptly.
- Table Maintenance: Setting up tables with linens and cutlery, clearing dirty dishes, and ensuring cleanliness.
- Collaboration: Working with experienced waitstaff and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service flow.
- Safety & Hygiene: Adhering to food safety regulations and restaurant health standards.
Requirements and Skills
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift trays.
- Attitude: Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work under pressure.
- Experience: Generally, no formal education or previous experience required; training is typically provided on-the-job.
