The candidate will assist in day-to-day accounting, taxation, audit, and compliance assignments under the guidance of senior professionals. The role provides exposure to various statutory and regulatory matters while developing practical knowledge of accounting standards and tax laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining books of accounts and accounting entries in accounting software such as Tally or ERP.
- Assisting in statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, and bank audits.
- Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR), GST Returns, TDS Returns, and other statutory compliances.
- Preparation of financial statements, schedules, and working papers.
- Assisting in GST reconciliations, input tax credit verification, and GST compliance.
- Preparation of TDS computations, challans, and reconciliation statements.
- Drafting basic letters, notices, replies, and documentation for tax and regulatory authorities.
- ROC compliance support, including preparation of company-related forms and documents.
- Collection, verification, and analysis of financial data and supporting documents.
- Coordination with clients for obtaining information and resolving accounting or compliance-related queries.
- Maintaining proper documentation and ensuring timely completion of assigned assignments.
Desired Skills:
- Basic knowledge of Accounting Principles, GST, Income Tax, TDS, and auditing.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and accounting software such as Tally Prime.
- Good analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and work within deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Qualification:
- B.Com./M.Com./CA Inter (Appeared/Qualified) or equivalent qualification with basic knowledge of accounting, taxation, and auditing.
