Job Description – Biomedical Engineer(Hospital)
Position: Biomedical Engineer
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 3–8 Years (Hospital experience is mandatory)
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot biomedical equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of medical devices.
- Coordinate with vendors for equipment servicing, AMC/CMC, and repairs.
- Ensure calibration, documentation, and compliance with NABH standards.
- Maintain equipment inventory, service records, and maintenance schedules.
- Support equipment procurement, installation, and commissioning.
- Train hospital staff on the safe operation of biomedical equipment.
- Ensure timely resolution of equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of biomedical equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience with NABH compliance and medical equipment documentation.
- Good coordination, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
