Job Summary:
PBHM Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Staff member to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting samples, performing laboratory tests, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring quality standards are followed to support timely and accurate patient diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Collect blood, urine, and other patient samples following standard procedures.
- Perform routine laboratory investigations and diagnostic tests.
- Prepare samples for testing and analysis.
- Maintain laboratory records and test reports accurately.
- Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of specimens and reagents.
- Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff regarding test requirements and reports.
- Assist in health camps and special screening programs when required.
- Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and report shortages.
Requirements:
- DMLT, BMLT, or equivalent qualification in Medical Laboratory Technology.
- Valid registration/certification as applicable.
- Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Basic computer knowledge for laboratory software and reporting.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in clinical laboratory settings.
- Knowledge of hematology, biochemistry, serology, and microbiology testing.
- Familiarity with laboratory quality control procedures.
