The Senior HR Generalist is responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations and supporting business objectives through effective people management practices. The role includes recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, statutory compliance support, payroll coordination, training & development, and employee engagement. The incumbent will ensure smooth HR operations while maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Onboarding & Documentation
- Complete joining formalities and employee documentation.
- Maintain employee personal files and HR records.
- Conduct induction and orientation programs for new employees.
- Coordinate confirmation and probation review processes.
HR Operations
- Maintain HRIS and employee database.
- Generate HR reports, dashboards, and monthly MIS.
- Handle attendance, leave management, and employee records.
- Support payroll by validating attendance, leave, and statutory inputs.
Performance Management
- Coordinate the Performance Management System (PMS).
- Track employee KPIs/KRAs and appraisal cycles.
- Support managers in performance reviews and development planning.
Employee Relations
- Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze attrition trends.
- Promote employee engagement initiatives and maintain a positive work environment.
- Ensure effective communication between management and employees.
HR Policies & Compliance
- Implement and communicate HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company regulations.
- Assist in audits related to HR documentation and statutory compliance.
- Support disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy.
Learning & Development
- Identify training needs in coordination with department heads.
- Organize internal and external training programs.
- Maintain training records and evaluate program effectiveness.
Administration Support
- Coordinate with the Administration team for employee facilities.
- Support employee welfare activities and company events.
- Assist in vendor coordination related to HR services.
Required Qualifications
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Management, or a related field.
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Experience in manufacturing, jewellery, retail, or engineering industries will be preferred.
- Exposure to end-to-end HR operations and employee lifecycle management.
