Job Summary
The School Receptionist is the first point of contact for students, parents, visitors, and staff. The role involves managing front office operations, handling communication, maintaining records, providing administrative support, and ensuring a professional and welcoming environment at all times.
Key ResponsibilitiesFront Office Management
- Greet and assist parents, visitors, students, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
- Manage the reception area and ensure it remains organized and presentable.
- Maintain visitor records and issue visitor passes as per school policies.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate departments or personnel.
Communication & Correspondence
- Answer and route incoming telephone calls.
- Respond to general inquiries from parents and visitors.
- Receive, sort, and distribute emails, letters, courier deliveries, and other communications.
- Assist in drafting and circulating school notices, circulars, and announcements.
Student & Parent Support
- Provide information regarding admissions, fee payments, school events, and general school procedures.
- Address parent queries and coordinate with relevant departments for resolution.
- Assist with student attendance-related communications when required.
Administrative Support
- Maintain and update student, staff, and visitor records.
- Manage appointment schedules for the Principal and school leadership, as assigned.
- Support admission-related documentation and record maintenance.
- Prepare reports, letters, and other administrative documents as required.
- Ensure proper filing and retrieval of documents.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
