Role Summary
The Chemistry Teacher will be responsible for teaching Chemistry as per State Board syllabus, developing strong conceptual and practical knowledge, and improving board exam results.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Academic Duties
Teach Chemistry as per Tamil Nadu State Board syllabus.
Prepare lesson plans and study materials.
Complete syllabus on time.
Conduct regular class tests and model exams.
2. Practical & Laboratory Work
Conduct lab experiments as per curriculum.
Ensure safe handling of chemicals and lab equipment.
Maintain lab records and inventory properly.
3. Exam Preparation
Prepare question papers and assignments.
Evaluate answer sheets and provide feedback.
Focus on improving 10th and 12th public exam results.
4. Student Support
Identify weak students and provide remedial classes.
Provide extra practice for numerical and equation-based problems.
Guide students for higher studies in science.
5. Classroom Management
Maintain discipline and positive learning environment.
Monitor attendance and student performance.
Communicate progress with parents during PTMs.
Required Qualifications
M.Sc. / B.Sc. in Chemistry.
B.Ed. mandatory.
Strong theoretical and practical knowledge.
Good communication skills (Tamil & English).
Preferred Skills
Experience in handling Higher Secondary section.
Strong board exam result record.
Ability to simplify complex reactions and concepts.
Basic computer knowledge.
Reporting To: Academic Coordinator / Principal
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹10,496.38 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
