About the Role
Rainbow International Group of Companies is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to support the day-to-day financial operations of the organization. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and assisting with financial reporting. This position requires strong accounting knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and hands-on expertise in Tally ERP, which is essential for success in this role.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts by recording daily financial transactions.
- Pass journal entries, maintain ledgers, and prepare trial balances.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure proper accounting documentation and record management.
Accounts Reconciliation & Payments
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Process vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and other financial transactions in a timely manner.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables to ensure smooth cash flow.
- Support statutory compliance, including GST, TDS, PF, PT, and other applicable regulations.
Payroll Support
- Coordinate with the HR department and Chief Accountant to support payroll processing.
- Maintain payroll records and assist in generating salary statements and payslips.
- Ensure payroll-related statutory deductions are accurately processed.
Reporting & Audit Support
- Prepare periodic MIS reports and financial reports for management review.
- Maintain organized financial records for internal and external audits.
- Assist auditors by providing the required financial data and supporting documents.
Cross-functional Coordination
- Collaborate with HR, Administration, Procurement, and other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.
- Support the Chief Accountant with additional finance and accounting responsibilities as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or an equivalent qualification.
- CA Intermediate, CMA, or ICWA (Intermediate) will be an added advantage.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Tally ERP/Tally Prime is mandatory.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data management, and reporting.
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles and Indian statutory compliances, including GST, TDS, PF, and PT.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
