## Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated WordPress & PHP Developer with at least 2 years of professional experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites and PHP-based web applications. You will be responsible for creating high-quality, scalable, and secure web solutions while collaborating with designers and project managers to deliver exceptional user experiences.
## Roles & Responsibilities
* Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
* Build and maintain PHP-based web applications following coding best practices.
* Convert UI/UX designs into responsive, mobile-friendly web pages.
* Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services.
* Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website and application issues.
* Optimize website speed, performance, and overall user experience.
* Ensure website security and implement regular updates and maintenance.
* Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
* Perform website migrations, backups, and deployment activities.
* Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver projects on time.
* Stay updated with the latest WordPress, PHP, and web development technologies.
## Required Skills
* Minimum 2 years of experience in WordPress and PHP development.
* Strong knowledge of Core PHP and WordPress architecture.
* Experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
* Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
* Experience with MySQL database design and optimization.
* Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party API integrations.
* Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
* Understanding of website security, performance optimization, and SEO best practices.
* Experience working with page builders such as Elementor is an advantage.
* Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues efficiently.
## Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Experience with WooCommerce customization is a plus.
* Knowledge of Laravel or other PHP frameworks is an added advantage.
* Familiarity with cPanel, web hosting environments, and website deployment.
* Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
