Supervises the functions of the department employees, facilities, operations and cost on a day- to-day
basis.
Co-ordinates functions and activities with other department heads as assigned.
Monitors and controls, on an on-going basis:
Quality levels of product and service
Customer satisfaction
Merchandising and marketing
Operating costs
Sanitation, cleanliness and hygiene Upkeep of the entire area under his purview
Ensure optimum performance in specific jobs assigned in the above areas.
Establishes and maintains effective customer/employee relation.
Assist Asst. Managers in setting targets/ goals for the department, makes constant effort to achieve the
same.
Minimize transaction time and introduce new techniques of intelligent selling.
Makes constant effort to up-grade and maintain the standards of cinema.
Conducts under the guidance of the Asst. Manager employee orientation, on the job performance, coaching
and disciplinary action if necessary, to ensure appropriate staffing and productivity.
Develops formal training plans and conducts on the job-sessions for all employees of cinema.
Ensures all SOPs are followed during Operations in the Area assigned.
Ensures smooth and delightful Customer experience.
Monitors, controls departmental expenses.
Maintains revenue/accounts related records.
Ensures proper maintenance of all equipment’s and follow-up on AMCs.
Controls over-time duties of staff for Compensatory offs.
Efficient and optimum utilization of staff by implementing the rostering effectively.
Is an active participant in the Shift briefing for every shift on daily basis and also conducts the same in the
absence of the AM.
Maintains minimum stock levels of all items and participates in inventories on daily/weekly basis.
Participates in the implementation of promotions and events
To monitor VIP movements
To ensure that displays and marques are well maintained and updated at all times.
To ensure proper take-over and hand-over shift.
To ensure cleanliness at box, foyer, auditorium, rest rooms etc. and co-ordinate with housekeeping as and
when required.
To ensure smooth operations at all times.
To provide feedback to the Asst. Manager at the end of every shift through logbooks or in person.
To assist the Asst. Manager in preparation of relevant reports and maintain record of the same.
To assist the Asst. Manager in implementation of all contracts, AMCs etc.
To observe and report on a daily basis about any issues.
To ensure smooth Customer transactions following SOP guidelines.
Supervise the staff to ensure maximum productivity and get timely work done.
To ensure safety and security.
To provide a daily requisition for the next day based on the forecast of cinema.
Establish and maintains the record systems to include but not limited to:

Box-office –
i. Manual: Programmed file, E tax form B, weekly, monthly, exemption, show tax and FDF reports ticket
reconciliation, ticket purchase record, EDC role record and ordering, impression slip record, box office
stationary record, censor certificate record, short and excess record, uncollected tickets, daily sales
sheet, weekly Stock take, monthly stock take, yield test report, f & B complimentary and spoilage, Café
wastage reports, INR report, Book my show and AET records
Mailing Reports: Daily box office reports, weekly Box office reports, box short and excess record,
uncollected tickets, competition mapping
Café reports –
i. Daily sales sheet, weekly stock take, monthly stock take, yield test report, F & B complimentary and
spoilage, Café wastage reports, cash summary
To perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Management from time to time.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹15,500.00 per month
