At NewWave – the Presales Specialist role for the Virtualisation Division – is measured across 4 Perspectives
From A Technical Perspective:
- You need to be competent on Server Virtualisation + Desktop Virtualisation + Mobility + Cloud Solutioning Skills (both VMWare & Citrix)
- You will have to constantly keep upgrading your skills across both VMware & Citrix.
From A Customer Perspective
- You will have to conduct Technology Advisory Workshops for Customers
- You will need to help Customers Build Business Case for the respective Solution area as needed
- You will also need to understand Customer requirements & Prepare a comprehensive solution proposal for the case
From an Internal – Teaming Perspective
- Part of your responsibilities include conducting a weekly (in-house) solution-enablement session
- And to provide Pre-Sales support on the ground @ the customer location along with the account sale reps
From a Vendor Perspective
- You have to work extremely closely with the respective SE’s (System Engineers) on our cases
- And you will need to develop an excellent working relationship with the Pre-Sales Team at VMware & Citrix. – this would be a true test of your inter personal relationship building skills
