We are looking for motivated and passionate Django Backend Developer Interns to join our engineering team at Marzelet Info Technology Pvt. Ltd.
As a Django Backend Developer Intern, you will contribute to building secure, scalable, and high-performance backend services using Python, Django, Django REST Framework (DRF), and PostgreSQL. You will collaborate with frontend developers, AI engineers, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers to develop real-world enterprise SaaS applications.
This internship provides hands-on experience with API development, database design, authentication, AI integrations, and cloud-based application development. You'll participate in Agile development, code reviews, testing, and deployment while receiving mentorship from experienced engineers.
This is an excellent opportunity for students and recent graduates who want to gain practical experience, strengthen their backend development skills, and work on a commercial AI-powered software product. High-performing interns may be considered for a full-time Software Engineer position after successfully completing the internship.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop REST APIs using Django and Django REST Framework (DRF)
- Build scalable backend modules and business logic
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases
- Implement secure authentication and authorization
- Integrate APIs with the frontend team
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code
- Debug, test, and optimize backend applications
- Participate in Agile sprint planning and daily stand-up meetings
- Collaborate with frontend, AI, and QA teams
