TAIM145: UFT Automation Tester
Experience: 8+ Years

Duration: 3–6 Months (Potential Extension)
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with UFT / Unified Functional Testing (formerly QTP)
- Functional, Regression & API Automation Testing
- Experience taking ownership of an existing automation framework with minimal/no documentation
- Strong troubleshooting and reverse-engineering skills
- Strong knowledge of:
- UFT Object Repositories
- VBScript
- Test Data Management
- Automation Script Maintenance
- Ability to independently investigate, stabilize, and maintain existing automation solutions
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the existing UFT automation solution
- Review and reverse-engineer scripts, frameworks, object repositories, test data, and configurations
- Document the existing automation setup
- Maintain and stabilize functional, regression, and API automation suites
- Troubleshoot and resolve framework/script issues
- Execute and monitor automated test scripts
- Identify gaps and recommend framework improvements
- Collaborate with QA, Development, and Business teams
Good to Have:
- REST / SOAP / Postman experience
- Jira / ALM / Quality Center
- Experience handling undocumented or orphaned automation frameworks
- Enterprise or regulated-environment experience
