Role Overview:
The Reports Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development, management, and optimization of reporting processes and tools. This role is essential for ensuring that accurate, timely, and actionable reports are delivered to support operational decision-making and drive overall business success.
Job Summary:
The QA Incharge is responsible for ensuring that all quality assurance processes and systems comply with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines. The role involves overseeing audits, maintaining documentation, and implementing quality control measures to achieve compliance with ISO and IATF standards. Additionally, the QA Incharge will act as the Management Representative (MR) for audits, ensuring that all quality management requirements are met across internal audits, external audits, supplier audits, process audits, customer audits, and regulatory audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other applicable standards.
- Plan and conduct internal and external audits, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively.
- Act as the Management Representative (MR) for all quality audits, liaising with auditors, certification bodies, and regulatory agencies.
- Manage and oversee quality documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, control plans, FMEAs, and PPAP submissions.
- Conduct and support supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and supplier performance requirements.
- Perform process audits to assess compliance with internal procedures and identify areas for improvement.
- Facilitate customer audits, ensuring that all customer-specific requirements are met and addressed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory audits, working with relevant authorities to meet legal obligations.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Lead the resolution of non-conformities and customer complaints through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train and guide team members on quality standards, audit procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and statutory compliance requirements.
- Liaise with certification bodies and external auditors for ISO and IATF audits.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, audit processes, and quality documentation.
- Experience in conducting internal, external, supplier, process, customer, and regulatory audits.
- Experience as a Management Representative (MR) in audits is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA, APQP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Lead Auditor Certification in ISO/IATF standards.
- Experience in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
