Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Four-Wheeler Service Technician with a background in an authorized automobile dealership. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining passenger vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform periodic maintenance services (PMS) as per manufacturer guidelines.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using OEM diagnostic tools.
- Carry out repairs on engine, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, AC, and electrical systems.
- Execute warranty repairs according to OEM policies and procedures.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and road tests before and after repairs.
- Ensure first-time-right (FTR) repairs and meet workshop productivity targets.
- Maintain accurate job cards, service records, and repair documentation.
- Follow workshop safety standards, 5S practices, and quality procedures.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors and Workshop Controllers regarding repair status and additional work requirements.
- Keep up to date with OEM technical bulletins, service campaigns, and product training.
Eligibility
- ITI (Motor Mechanic Vehicle) / Diploma in Automobile Engineering or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of experience in an authorized dealership (e.g., Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Mahindra, Honda, Toyota, Kia, MG, Volkswagen, Skoda, etc.).
- Experience with OEM diagnostic scanners and workshop processes.
- Valid driving license preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of petrol, diesel, and BS6 vehicle systems.
- Ability to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Hands-on experience with OEM diagnostic equipment.
- Knowledge of warranty procedures and dealership SOPs.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Time management and ability to work under productivity targets.
Preferred Qualifications
- OEM technical certification or dealership training.
- Experience with hybrid and electric vehicles (preferred).
- Understanding of dealership KPIs such as productivity, efficiency, and quality
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
