We are seeking a committed and knowledgeable Computer Science Lecturer to join our academic team for UG / PUC programs. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject expertise, effective teaching skills, and the ability to engage students in both theoretical and practical learning. The role involves academic delivery, student mentoring, and active participation in departmental activities.
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching & Academic Delivery
- Deliver lectures in core Computer Science subjects including Programming (C, C++, Java, Python), Data Structures, Database Management Systems (DBMS), and Computer Fundamentals.
- Teach PUC-level Computer Science subjects as per prescribed syllabus (if applicable).
- Plan and prepare structured lesson plans aligned with academic curriculum.
- Use modern teaching aids such as presentations, coding demonstrations, and digital tools to enhance learning.
Assessment & Evaluation
- Design question papers, assignments, and internal assessments.
- Conduct tests, practical exams, and viva sessions.
- Evaluate answer scripts and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and internal marks.
Practical & Lab Management
- Conduct and supervise laboratory sessions effectively.
- Guide students in hands-on programming and project work.
- Ensure proper usage and maintenance of lab equipment and systems.
Student Mentorship
- Provide academic guidance and career support to students.
- Identify slow learners and provide additional support where required.
- Encourage participation in academic and extracurricular activities.
Administrative & Institutional Responsibilities
- Maintain academic records and documentation as per institutional requirements.
- Participate in staff meetings, academic reviews, and curriculum planning.
- Assist in organizing seminars, workshops, technical events, and competitions.
- Contribute to the discipline and overall development of the institution.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- MCA or M.Sc in Computer Science - Mandatory
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in UG / PUC / Diploma / Coaching institutions
Technical Competencies
- Proficiency in programming languages: C, C++, Java, Python
- Strong understanding of:
- Data Structures
- DBMS (SQL, MySQL, Oracle basics)
- Computer Fundamentals & IT concepts
- Familiarity with MS Office tools and basic e-learning platforms
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
