Job Description – Vehicle Integration Engineer
Experience: 5–6 Years

We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Integration Engineer with strong exposure to agricultural machinery such as sugarcane harvesters, combines, tractors, or other off-highway equipment. The candidate will be responsible for complete vehicle-level integration, ensuring proper packaging, functionality, manufacturability, and subsystem compatibility across the machine platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle-level and system-level integration for agricultural and off-highway machinery.
- Ensure design feasibility, ergonomics, serviceability, manufacturability, and packaging compliance.
- Conduct integration reviews and resolve interface conflicts across subsystems.
- Coordinate integration activities for:
- Engine
- Transmission
- Axles
- Hydraulic systems
- PTO systems
- Cooling modules
- Wiring harnesses
- Operator cabin/environment
- Demonstrate strong understanding of:
- Powertrain integration
- Hydraulic routing and aggregates
- Chassis systems
- Vehicle dynamics
- Lead and participate in CAD reviews using UG NX / Siemens NX.
- Manage vehicle BOM, engineering change requests, and system interfaces.
- Participate in DFMEA activities, risk assessments, gate reviews, and milestone tracking.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, testing, sourcing, and program management.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong experience in agricultural equipment or off-highway vehicle integration.
- Good knowledge of vehicle architecture and subsystem packaging.
- Hands-on experience with UG NX / Siemens NX.
- Understanding of DFMEA, engineering change management, and product development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet project timelines effectively.
- High ownership, accountability, and execution focus.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in sugarcane harvesters, combine harvesters, tractors, or similar heavy equipment.
- Candidates from OEMs or engineering service companies supporting agricultural machinery projects preferred.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice period will be preferred.
Education
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile / Agricultural Engineering or related discipline
