Key Responsibilities
1. Vehicle Service & Maintenance
- Assist in routine servicing such as oil changes, filter replacement, brake inspection, coolant checks, tyre rotation, etc.
- Support during preventive maintenance services (PMS) as per OEM schedule.
2. Diagnostic Support
- Help senior technicians in scanning fault codes using diagnostic tools.
- Learn basic troubleshooting techniques for engine, transmission, clutch, suspension, electrical and pneumatic systems.
Repair Assistance
- Participate in minor repairs under supervision (brake pads, belts, hose replacement, bulb change, lubrication).
- Gradually handle major repairs like overhauls once trained and certified.
Tools, Equipment & Safety
- Use workshop tools and equipment correctly (torque wrench, lifts, battery charger, scan tools, etc.).
- Follow all safety procedures — PPE, hazard reporting, lockout/tagout, fire safety, safe lifting.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain job cards, checklists, torque sheets, and part replacement records.
- Report findings and work progress to the floor supervisor / job controller.
Customer Delight Support
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicles handed over for service.
- Support the team in ensuring timely delivery, zero repeat complaints and high-quality workmanship.

- Maintain teamwork and professional behaviour in the workshop.

Learning & Development Plan
During the training period, the trainee is expected to:
- Attend OEM & internal training modules regularly.
- Achieve competency certifications step-by-step.
- Learn usage of WMS (Workshop Management System) or DMS entry processes.
- Understand warranty claim procedures and return of replaced parts.
Housekeeping & Environmental Responsibility
- Keep bay/workstation clean.
- Participate in 5S activities.
- Dispose used oils, filters and scrap as per environmental norms.
Career Progression
After successful completion of training and evaluation:
Trainee Technician → Technical Helper → Assistant Technician → Technician → Master Technician / Diagnostic Expert à Technical Advisor à Floor Supervisor -à Assistant Works Manager -à Works Manager -à Cluser Manager -à Cluster Head à Head Service
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
