Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and result-oriented Inside Sales Executive for our freight forwarding and logistics business in Chembur, Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, coordinating with customers, preparing quotations, and supporting the sales team to achieve business targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through calls, emails, and client follow-ups
- Handle customer inquiries related to freight forwarding, shipping, and logistics services
- Prepare and share quotations for air freight, sea freight, and transportation services
- Coordinate with operations and pricing teams for timely customer support
- Maintain relationships with existing customers and identify repeat business opportunities
- Follow up on leads and convert inquiries into business
- Maintain CRM records, sales reports, and customer databases
- Support the sales team in achieving monthly and quarterly targets
- Understand customer shipping requirements and provide suitable logistics solutions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field
- 1–5 years of experience in inside sales, freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping industry
- Good understanding of international logistics, freight forwarding, import/export processes
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
