Role Description
The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This position is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, expanding customer accounts, and driving revenue growth within the aerospace and related sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching target markets, building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, and managing the end-to-end business development cycle from prospecting to closing. The role involves meeting with potential and existing clients, preparing and delivering proposals and presentations, negotiating terms, and collaborating with technical and operations teams to align solutions with customer needs. The Business Development Manager will also monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy, forecast sales performance, and support management with regular reports and insights.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in aerospace, defense, engineering, or technology-driven industries.
- Strong skills in lead generation, pipeline management, and consultative selling, with the ability to convert opportunities into long-term client relationships.
- Ability to conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and translate insights into actionable business plans and go-to-market strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, including experience preparing proposals, responding to RFPs, and presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Comfort working closely with technical, product, and operations teams to understand solutions and position them effectively for prospective clients.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple opportunities, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; a postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with the aerospace and defense ecosystem, supply chains, and regulatory considerations is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office (or similar productivity suites), and basic sales analytics and reporting.
- Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad and travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and partner engagements.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
