Role Overview
We're looking for a sharp, hands-on sourcing and supply chain leader to own end-to-end procurement and supply chain operations for Miko's hardware products. This is a senior leadership role — you'll shape strategy, manage critical supplier relationships, and ensure uninterrupted supply to support global production and retail commitments, including oversight of inbound freight and delivery to distribution partners.
What You'll OwnSourcing & Supplier Management
- Lead strategic sourcing for all hardware components — electronics, motors, plastics, packaging, and finished goods — across a global supplier base (primarily Asia)
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, MOQs, and payment terms with suppliers
- Build and maintain a diversified supplier ecosystem; identify and qualify alternates to reduce single-source risk
- Own supplier performance through KPIs: OTD, quality, cost trends, and responsiveness
Supply Chain Planning
- Own demand planning, inventory management, and procurement scheduling aligned to production and launch calendars
- Partner with product, engineering, and sales teams to translate forecasts into accurate procurement plans
- Maintain safety stock and buffer strategies for high-risk or long-lead components
- Drive lead time reduction and working capital optimization across the supply base
Logistics Coordination
- Oversee inbound freight from Asia factories — freight forwarder relationships, shipment tracking, and cost management
- Coordinate outbound delivery to 3PLs and retail distribution partners, including key accounts
Team & Stakeholder Leadership
- Lead and mentor the sourcing and supply chain team
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, finance, and retail account teams
- Report supply chain health, risks, and cost performance to leadership regularly
What We're Looking For
- 10–14 years across sourcing and supply chain, with at least 4 years in a leadership role
- Background in consumer electronics, hardware, or robotics strongly preferred
- Proven experience managing supplier relationships in China or Southeast Asia
- Working knowledge of international freight, Incoterms, and landed cost — enough to manage forwarder relationships and flag risks
- Strong commercial acumen — experienced in contract negotiation and cost modeling
- Data-driven decision-making
- Operates well in a fast-paced, startup-scale environment — bias for action, high ownership
Nice to Have
- Experience managing supply chains for retail-distributed hardware products
- Prior exposure to cost-down programs on electromechanical or PCB-heavy products
- Familiarity with trade compliance across US, EU, and India lanes
Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
