Job Title: Interior Designer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to plan, design, and execute functional, aesthetically pleasing interior spaces for residential, commercial, and corporate projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong design skills, project management abilities, and a passion for creating innovative environments that meet client requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to understand project requirements, preferences, budgets, and timelines.
- Develop creative design concepts, mood boards, space plans, and presentations.
- Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, 3D visualizations, and design specifications.
- Select materials, furniture, fixtures, finishes, lighting, and décor elements.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and suppliers throughout project execution.
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure design compliance.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and procurement activities.
- Ensure all designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Present design proposals and revisions to clients for approval.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and design technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Interior Designer or similar role.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, V-Ray, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of space planning, color theory, materials, and furniture design.
- Excellent creativity, visualization, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and client management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality interior projects.
- Knowledge of sustainable and modern design practices.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with project costing and vendor management.
