Salary: ₹4.8 – ₹7.8 LPA CTC (₹40,000 – ₹65,000/month)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Head of Purchase to lead the organization's procurement function, ensuring strategic sourcing, cost optimization, uninterrupted material availability, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for procurement strategy, ERP implementation, vendor development, process standardization, and team leadership while supporting the company's growth and manufacturing objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead ERP implementation, procurement process automation, and system integration initiatives.
- Establish, monitor, and review departmental KRAs and KPIs.
- Drive vendor development, supplier evaluation, negotiations, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing purchase team.
- Develop and implement procurement SOPs, policies, and best practices.
- Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, components, consumables, and services to support manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with Production, Planning, Stores, Finance, and Quality departments for seamless supply chain operations.
- Drive process improvements, compliance, inventory optimization, and supply chain risk management.
- Prepare MIS reports and provide strategic procurement insights to senior management.
- Monitor supplier performance, quality, delivery schedules, and contract compliance.

Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related discipline.
- 7–10+ years of experience in Purchase/Procurement, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in Construction Machinery, Heavy Engineering, Capital Equipment, Fabrication, or Manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain operations.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
