We are looking for a skilled Python Django Developer with 1–3 years of professional experience to join our growing development team in Mohali.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Python, Django, Django REST Framework (DRF), REST APIs, and relational databases. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications and backend services while working closely with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, project managers, and other team members.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Python and Django.
- Build secure, scalable, and high-performance backend applications.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF).
- Design and optimize database structures, queries, relationships, and database operations.
- Work with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL databases.
- Integrate third-party APIs, services, and external systems.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend functionality with user-facing applications.
- Write clean, reusable, scalable, and well-documented code following OOP and Django best practices.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application errors and technical issues.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Implement authentication, authorization, permissions, and other backend security practices.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards.
- Use Git for version control and team collaboration.
- Perform testing and debugging to ensure application quality and stability.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications based on client and business requirements.
- Stay updated with the latest Python, Django, and backend development technologies.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1–3 years of professional experience in Python/Django development.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Hands-on experience with Django and Django REST Framework (DRF).
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
- Good knowledge of ORM concepts and database relationships.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, and API security.
- Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JSON.
- Experience using Git or other version control systems.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a development team.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with Celery, Redis, or asynchronous task processing.
- Knowledge of background jobs, caching, and task queues.
- Experience with FastAPI or Flask.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized application development.
- Basic knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
- Understanding of CI/CD workflows.
- Experience working with React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Knowledge of automated testing using PyTest or Django Test Framework.
