HR Coordinator (Fresher/Junior) — Pune, India (Hybrid)
Overview
We're looking for an HR Coordinator to support our HR Generalist function in Pune. This is a hands-on support role covering the full employee lifecycle — onboarding, offboarding, attendance and leave tracking, HRIS data management, and reporting. You'll work closely with our HR Generalist, learning end-to-end HR operations while bringing strong Excel and a genuine interest in HR tech/automation to the team. Full training on internal systems provided.
Working Hours
Shift: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST (Monday to Friday), one-hour lunch break. Occasional availability beyond 10:00 PM IST for Leadership Meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding & Offboarding
- Support pre-joining documentation, day-one logistics, and induction scheduling for new hires
- Track joining formalities and maintain accurate records in our HRIS/HRMS
- Assist with exit formalities — documentation, notice period tracking, clearance coordination
Leave & Attendance
- Maintain leave and attendance records
- Support Loss of Pay (LOP) coordination with payroll
- Respond to employee queries on leave balances and attendance
HR Reporting & Dashboards
- Build and maintain HR reports and dashboards in Excel (headcount, attrition, leave utilization)
- Support the HR Generalist with payroll and compliance data reconciliation
- Help identify opportunities to automate recurring HR reporting tasks
HR Operations Support
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready HR documentation
- Support policy rollout and internal process documentation
- Assist with using AI tools to streamline HR workflows (e.g. drafting communications, summarizing data, report generation)
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- 0–1 year of HR experience (freshers welcome)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP/pivot tables required; VBA a plus)
- Comfortable learning new HRIS/HRMS platforms
- Genuine interest in AI tools and process automation
- Clear written and verbal English communication
- High discretion in handling confidential employee data
- Comfortable with late-shift hours (1:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST)
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to any HRIS/HRMS platform
- Prior internship or project experience in HR
- Basic understanding of Indian labour law fundamentals (PF, ESIC, leave policies)
- Demonstrated use of AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) for work tasks — happy to see examples

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
