Salary
₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (Based on experience)
Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in EDP, ERP support, or retail IT support.
- Freshers with strong computer knowledge and willingness to learn may also apply.
- Candidates with experience in textile retail showrooms such as ARRS Silks, The Chennai Silks, Pothys, Saravana Stores, RMKV, Kumaran Silks, Nalli, or similar retail chains will be given preference.
Qualification
- BCA / B.Sc. Computer Science / B.Com (Computer Applications) / Diploma in Computer Applications / Any degree with good computer knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for ERP and POS (Billing) systems.
- Ensure smooth billing operations and resolve basic billing issues.
- Generate barcode labels and maintain barcode systems.
- Update item masters, pricing, and stock information in the ERP.
- Support inventory management and stock verification.
- Troubleshoot computers, printers, barcode scanners, biometric devices, and other peripherals.
- Coordinate with the central IT/ERP team and software vendors for issue resolution.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Create and manage user accounts and system access.
- Assist during stock audits and ensure data accuracy.
- Ensure all IT systems are functioning with minimal downtime.
- Provide technical support to showroom staff whenever required.
Skills Required
- Good knowledge of ERP or retail billing software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, networking, printers, and barcode devices.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills in Tamil; basic English is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple departments.
