Job Overview:
The Insurance Executive is responsible for managing vehicle insurance operations, including policy issuance, renewals, claims coordination, and customer support. This role ensures seamless insurance services for customers, maintains strong relationships with insurance providers, and supports business growth through effective insurance sales and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting suitable motor insurance policies and explain coverage options, benefits, and exclusions.
- Process new insurance policies, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations accurately and within defined timelines.
- Coordinate with insurance companies to obtain quotations, policy approvals, and documentation.
- Follow up with customers for insurance renewals and ensure timely policy renewals to maximize retention.
- Handle customer inquiries related to insurance products, premiums, policy status, and claims procedures.
- Support customers throughout the claims process by coordinating with insurance providers, surveyors, and service teams.
- Maintain accurate records of insurance transactions, customer information, policy documents, and claim files.
- Prepare and submit insurance-related reports, renewal trackers, and performance summaries to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, insurance regulations, and documentation requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance partners to facilitate smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to increase insurance penetration and contribute to departmental revenue targets.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in insurance sales, insurance coordination, customer service, or a similar role.
- Knowledge of motor insurance products, policy administration, and claims procedures.
- Familiarity with insurance management systems and MS Office applications.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
