We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Software Tester with experience in both Manual and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of software applications through comprehensive testing activities. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to identify issues, improve product quality, and deliver reliable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements to create effective test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Conduct API testing and validate data integrity across applications.
- Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
- Execute regression test suites and ensure software quality before releases.
- Prepare test reports and provide regular updates on testing progress and quality metrics.
- Continuously improve testing processes, frameworks, and automation coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in software testing, including both manual and automation testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
- Experience in creating test plans, test cases, and test documentation.
- Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience with performance and security testing is a plus.
- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is preferred.
