Job Summary: As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of our store. You will not only help customers find the perfect outfits but also ensure the store looks immaculate and well-stocked. If you love fashion, enjoy interacting with people, and have a keen eye for what styles sell best, this role is perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement & Sales: Welcome customers, understand their style preferences, and expertly display and suggest clothing to help them make purchases.
- Relationship Building: Develop strong, trusting relationships with regular customers to drive repeat visits and loyalty.
- Store Readiness & Upkeep: Perform basic cleaning and tidying of the store at the start of the day to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Garment Care & Merchandising: Properly fold, organize, and display clothes according to brand guidelines. Use a steam iron to keep displayed clothing crisp, wrinkle-free, and attractive.
- Inventory & Stock Management: Efficiently handle incoming stock, ensure clothes are properly tagged, and systematically store inventory in the stockroom.
- Stock Selection Assistance: Use your daily interaction with customers to provide valuable feedback to management on current fashion trends, helping decide what types of clothing to bring in for new stock.
- Billing Coordination: Assist customers through the billing process smoothly and handle cash/digital payments if required.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience:Minimum 2 to 5 years of proven experience working in a clothing or retail apparel store (experience in a multi-brand environment is a big plus). *
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong convincing and sales skills.
- Good knowledge of local customer preferences in Muzaffarnagar
Attributes:
- High energy, polite demeanor, punctual, and a strong sense of personal styling.
- Language: Fluency in Hindi; basic understanding of English is preferred.
